POUR Choice is three sides of the same pour. Homeowners post the work they need done. Contractors find work and hire help. Workers put themselves out there — with their skills, their availability, and the cards to prove it.
Built from 25 years behind a screed. The little guy is the point of this — the finisher, the laborer, the homeowner who just wants a straight answer and a fair price.

Need work done?
Post the job: driveway, patio, sidewalk, slab. Say where, how big, and when. Contractors come to you — you pick who you hire.
Posting a job: free
Post a jobNeed work? Need hands?
Find posted jobs near you, and post when you’re hiring — full time, part time, seasonal, or by the job. Say when you need hands, and the board matches you with workers who are free then. Show license and insurance up front so a homeowner doesn’t have to guess. If you require a background check or drug screening, say so on your listing up front — you arrange it and you pay for it.
Post or bump a listing: a few dollars per job
Post hiring / listingNeed a day’s work?
Post your availability, your bio, and photos of past jobs. List your OSHA card, driver’s license, and endorsements. Contractors filter for exactly that — no guessing, no wasted drive.
Workers: free. Always.

Leads put themselves out there
No lead lists for sale. A homeowner posts a job and it’s there for any contractor to see. A worker posts himself and any contractor can find him. Filter each board by state and town, and narrow by distance from a town to see what’s near you — every card shows its town, state, and ZIP, and how far away it is once you pick a town. Tap any card for the full story. Every card shows its star rating — tap one to read the public reviews and leave your own. Open any listing to message privately inside POUR Choice without sharing your phone number, or to tap Report next to the reviews if something looks fake or like a scam. Real contact info stays locked until both sides agree to share it, or both agree on a work agreement.

Reviews
See how past jobs went, before you hire
Every listing and profile — job posts, worker profiles, and contractor listings — carries its own public reviews. Anyone who has worked with them can leave a star rating and a written comment, and everyone who opens that listing can read it — so the next person hiring can see how past jobs actually went, not just what the listing claims. There are no open public comment threads for negotiating jobs: price and scope talk happens in private messages, and the deal goes in a work agreement.
Reviews are not private messages. They sit on the listing itself, open to any homeowner or contractor who opens it.
A simple 1-to-5 star rating, and a written comment saying what happened on the job — showed up, finished clean, paid on time, or didn’t.
The star average shows on the card on the board. Tap the card to read every review, and to leave your own.
A low rating is not hidden because it is uncomfortable. Reviews stay public so the next hire can judge for themselves.
01 — For homeowners
Questions homeowners ask up front
You need concrete work done and you want a straight answer, a fair price, and a crew that shows up. Tap a question to read the answer. If your question is about a specific job or contractor, open that listing and message from there.
Does it cost anything to post a job?
No. Posting a job, looking at the boards, and picking who you hire are all free. Contractors pay a few dollars to post or bump a listing, and suppliers pay monthly to advertise. Nobody pays for a lead, and nobody takes a cut of your job.
What should I put in my job post?
The kind of work, your town and ZIP, the rough size, what condition it is in, and when you want it done. The more specific you are, the more real quotes you get instead of callbacks asking the same questions.
How do I pick a contractor?
Check the license and insurance shown on the listing, and read the public reviews on it, stars and written comments from past jobs. Ask to see the real papers in person before money moves, and get the price, the scope, and the timing in writing before the truck shows up. A work agreement does that in plain language, and both sides tap agree.
Does POUR Choice guarantee the work or handle the payment?
No. POUR Choice only makes the connection. It is not responsible for a job or its quality, it is not part of any contract or payment, and it does not hold job money. Check permits and building codes with your city or county office before you pour, and read the full disclaimer.
How do I talk to a contractor without giving out my phone number?
Message inside POUR Choice from the listing. Your phone number stays hidden until both sides agree to share contact info, or until both sides agree on a work agreement. There is no open comment thread for negotiating a job, so price and scope stay private.
What if a job goes wrong, or a listing looks fake?
Leave a public review on the listing saying what happened, so the next homeowner can see it. Tap Report on a listing or a review for a fake account, a spam listing, a fake review, or a scam, and it goes to the moderation queue for review. A work agreement also keeps a record of what was agreed, so nobody can pretend the deal was different.

02 — For contractors
Questions contractors ask up front
You need jobs to bid on, and hands when a pour is coming. You only spend when there is work. Tap a question to read the answer. If your question is about a specific job or worker, open that listing and message from there.
What does it cost me?
A few dollars per post or bump, in the live version. No monthly bill to be seen, no fee for a lead, and no cut taken out of a job. You spend only when you post a hiring or business listing, or bump one back to the top. Homeowners post free, and workers are free, always.
How do I find jobs, and how do I hire hands?
On the jobs board, filter by job type and town, then bid on the jobs you want. To hire, post a hiring listing and pick the work type, full time, part time, seasonal, or per job, and when you need hands. The board matches that post with workers whose work type and availability fit, and shows you the best position fit first.
What proof do I have to show?
Show your license and insurance up front, and only list licenses, experience, and certs you can back up with a photo or a paper. If you are a cash crew with no license shown, say so plainly. The listing shows it, and the homeowner can see it before they hire.
What about background checks and drug screenings?
If you require either one, it has to be on your listing up front, before anyone answers it. You are liable for all of it. You contact the worker, tell them where to go, set it up, and pay for it all yourself. None of it falls on the worker, and POUR Choice does not arrange, conduct, or pay for any check or screening.
How do I talk to a homeowner or a worker, and make a deal?
Message inside the app from the listing, with no phone numbers shared. Real contact info unlocks only when both sides agree to share it, or after both sides agree on a work agreement. Before work starts, make a work agreement: scope, price, due date, and how payment happens, in plain language. Both sides tap agree, and the app keeps the record. POUR Choice is not part of that agreement and does not hold the money.
What do reviews do for my listing?
Every listing carries public reviews, a star rating and written comments from past jobs, and everyone who opens your listing can read them. A low rating is not hidden because it is uncomfortable. If a review is fake, tap Report on it and it goes to the moderation queue.
Worker? The worker questions are in the next section.
03 — For workers
Questions workers ask up front
You do the work. You put yourself out there, with your skills, your availability, and the cards to prove it. You never pay. Tap a question to read the answer. If your question is about a specific hiring post, open that listing and message from there.
Does it cost me anything?
No. Workers are free, always. Posting your availability, being found by contractors, and taking a job cost you nothing. You also never pay for a background check or drug screening a contractor requires. The contractor pays for all of that.
How do I post myself?
Put your name or initials, your town, your years doing concrete, what you do best, and a line about you. Say when you are free and what kind of work you would take, full time, part time, seasonal, or per job. Check only the cards and certs you can show a photo of, and add job photos if you have them. That is what contractors filter for.
How does matching work?
The board matches a hiring post to you by the work type you would take, when you are free, and the position fit, finisher, laborer, forming, saw-cut, and the rest. Hiring posts that match show on your card, best fit first. Tap one to see the contractor, the work type, when they need hands, and their reviews.
Do I need an OSHA card or a driver’s license to post?
No single card is required to post. List only what you have and can show. Contractors filter by the cards, so an honest listing gets you the right calls: if you have no license or no transport, say so, and the contractor knows before anybody drives anywhere.
How will a contractor reach me, and what if they want a background check or drug screening?
They message you inside POUR Choice, and your phone number stays hidden until both sides agree to share it. If a contractor requires a background check or drug screening, it has to be on their listing up front, so you see it before you answer. The contractor contacts you, tells you where to go, sets it up, and pays for it all.
How do I make sure I get paid, and stay safe?
Before work starts, put it in a work agreement: scope, price, due date, and how payment happens, and both sides tap agree. The app keeps the record. POUR Choice does not hold job money or guarantee pay, so that written record matters. Keep first contact in the app, meet in public first when you can, tell someone where you are going, and read the reviews on a listing before you take the job. Tap Report if a listing or review looks fake or like a scam.
Ready to put yourself out there? Post your availability.
How it works
Post it. Prove it. Pick.
1. Post it
A homeowner posts the job. A contractor posts that he’s hiring — full time, part time, seasonal, or by the job — and when he needs hands, and the board matches that post with workers who are free then. A worker posts when he’s free and what he can do, and sees the hiring posts that match. Plain words, no forms that fight you.
2. Prove it
Workers snap a photo of their OSHA card, driver’s license, and any cert right in the profile, plus photos of past jobs. Contractors show license and insurance up front. The proof is there before anybody drives anywhere.
3. You pick
POUR Choice only connects people. The homeowner chooses who gets hired. The contractor chooses who gets the call. Read the public reviews on the listing first — stars and written comments from past jobs, so you can see how it went before you pick. Nobody in the middle takes a cut of the job. Before work starts, tap any listing and choose Make a work agreement to write the scope, price, due date, and payment down in plain language — both sides tap agree, and the app keeps the record.
The honest part, in plain English
POUR Choice is a bulletin board, not a contractor. It only makes the connection — it is not responsible for any job, its quality, its safety, or whether anybody gets paid. It doesn’t hire, supervise, or guarantee anybody’s work, and it doesn’t take a percentage of a job. Before money changes hands:
- Ask to see the license, insurance, and card photos shown on the profile — in person, not just on a screen.
- Get the price, scope, and timing in writing before the truck shows up.
- Check the permit and inspection questions below with your city or county office.
- Hire on the work, not on who someone is. No discrimination in hiring or job postings based on race, sex, age, disability, or any protected status — discriminatory posts can be removed.
- Background checks and drug screenings are on the contractor. If a contractor requires either one to hire somebody, it has to be stated on the listing up front. The contractor contacts the worker, tells them where to go, sets it up, and pays for all of it — none of it falls on the worker or on POUR Choice.
- Keep first contact inside POUR Choice. Message in the app — your phone number stays hidden until both sides agree to share contact info, or both agree on a work agreement. Meet in public first when you can, tell someone where you’re going, and trust your gut.
The full plain-English agreement and disclaimer are the first thing you see when you open the site. One tap, no lawyer talk. Read the disclaimer
How it pays for itself
The money stays with the work
No monthly bill to be seen. No fee taken out of a worker’s day. The site pays for itself from the people selling to the trade — not from the people doing it.
Who pays what
Post availability, bio, job photos, and certs. Filtered and found by contractors.
Post jobs. Browse contractors and workers. Pick who you hire.
Pay per job to post a hiring listing or a business listing, and to bump one back to the top. Only spend when there’s work.

Ready-mix plants, supply yards, tool and rental shops advertise to the crews already on the site.

Not Angie’s List. No paid leads.
On the big sites, a lead is something a contractor buys — and three other contractors bought the same one. Here a lead isn’t sold at all. The homeowner puts the job out there. The worker puts himself out there. Everybody can see everybody, and everybody chooses for themselves.
That’s the difference. The money stays in the pocket of the person who earned it.
Before you pour
Check the permit before the truck
Rules change town to town and county to county. This doesn’t look up live rules — it gives you the exact questions to ask your city hall or county planning office, so nothing gets torn out after it cures.
Put it on the board
Post something
Pick who you are. Say it straight. Your post appears on the board above, on this page, for this visit. Nothing is sent anywhere — use the download button on your confirmation to keep a copy. Posts must be about the work, not about who someone is: no discrimination in hiring or job postings based on race, sex, age, disability, or any protected status. Discriminatory posts can be removed.
Built for a cracked phone
Works on bad signal. On purpose.
This was drawn up to run from a phone with a cracked screen and one bar of signal. Big buttons. Short words. No account needed to look around. Nothing heavy that has to load before the jobs do.
Buttons and cards sized for gloves and cracked glass, not a mouse.
Jobs, names, and certs are words first. Photos are small and optional.
Look at every board before you ever agree to anything or type a name.
The agreement, the fees, and the rules read like a person wrote them. Because one did.
Disclaimer
Only the connection. Not the job.
POUR Choice only connects people. It is not responsible for any job posted here, the quality of any work done, or any agreement made between the people who meet through it. If a pour cracks, a finish is bad, a job runs late or doesn’t get finished, or somebody doesn’t get paid, that is between the homeowner, the contractor, and the worker involved — not POUR Choice.
- Quality and workmanship: POUR Choice does not hire, supervise, inspect, or guarantee any work, materials, or results. It does not promise that a job will be done right, on time, or at the price quoted.
- Payment and contracts: POUR Choice is not a party to any job, contract, or payment. It holds no job money and does not guarantee that anyone will be paid, or that a job will be paid for. Get price, scope, and timing in writing before work starts.
- Safety, permits, and code: POUR Choice does not supervise any job site, enforce safety rules, or check that a job meets building codes or permit requirements. The people doing and hiring the work are responsible for that, and for checking with the city or county office first.
- What people claim: Licenses, insurance, OSHA cards, and experience are shown as the person posting them states them. POUR Choice does not background-check anyone or verify a license, policy, or card beyond the photo or paper the person shows. Check the real documents in person before you hire or start work.
- Background checks and drug screenings: If a contractor requires a background check or drug screening to hire somebody, that requirement must be stated on the contractor’s listing up front. The contractor is liable for all of it — the contractor contacts the worker directly, tells the worker where to go, sets it up, and pays for it all. None of that falls on the worker or on POUR Choice. POUR Choice does not arrange, conduct, or pay for any background check or drug screening.
- No employment: Nobody who posts here is an employee or agent of POUR Choice. Contractors hire workers directly, and homeowners hire contractors directly.
Fair hiring — no discrimination
POUR Choice does not tolerate discrimination in hiring or job postings based on race, sex, age, disability, or any protected status. Job posts and worker profiles must be about the work, not about who someone is. Hire on skills, experience, availability, and the proof shown — the work a person can do, the cards they hold, and whether they show up. A post that asks for, excludes, or judges someone because of who they are does not belong here.
Anyone posting discriminatory content can be removed. That includes job posts, hiring listings, and worker profiles, and it applies whether the discrimination is stated outright or dressed up as a requirement that has nothing to do with the work.
Background checks and drug screenings — the contractor pays, up front
If a contractor requires a background check or drug screening to hire somebody, it has to be put on the listing up front, before anyone answers it. The contractor is liable for all of it: the contractor has to contact the worker themselves, tell them where to go, set it up, and pay for it all themselves. None of that falls on the worker — the worker never pays for a check or a screening a contractor requires — and none of it falls on POUR Choice. A worker who sees the requirement on the listing knows exactly what is being asked before they ever talk to the contractor.
If a deal goes wrong, sort it out with the people who made it. A post that breaks the agreement — fake proof, false claims, misleading listings, or discriminatory content — can be taken down. This disclaimer is written in plain English to state the deal clearly; it does not replace legal advice for a specific dispute.
